ORDERING & DELIVERY
Making a purchase could not be easier, simply browse our website, add items to the shopping basket and make payment via PayPal or our Secure WorldPay Server, we accept credit cards Visa Credit Visa Debit, Mastercard Credit, Mastercard Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, JCB. Credit Card Security: All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. You will receive an order confirmation email, and we will then follow up with an eta on your chosen product. For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included.

Please ensure that there is someone at the delivery address on the day scheduled for delivery/available to help the driver where necessary to unload and take the items to the delivery destination.
Please do not sign for or accept any goods until unpacked and checked in full. Only sign if you are satisfied with the condition of your purchase. Items which have been signed for are deemed to be in good condition, and we cannot then accept claims for damage. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to accept full responsibility for any loss if they sign on your behalf and fail to check.
Once we have delivered your product, you are responsible for storage and installation. We recommend that you do not book a date for fitting until the item has been delivered.
We recommend the use of a registered electrician and experienced builder for installation as required.
If you are not absolutely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the goods within 14 days and we will refund your money or replace the goods. This guarantee is in addition to and in no way affects your statutory rights. Any guarantee mentioned on the site only applies to products where this is stated. The guarantee only applies to the metal components of the product (not the finish). A standard 12 month warranty applies.
We strive to supply goods in excellent condition. Faulty or incorrectly received goods must be notified to us in writing within 3 days of the date received. We will inspect the goods by asking you to return to Victorian Lighting Company. On receipt and inspection of the goods, if we agree that the fault be deemed the responsibility of Victorian Lighting Company, then at your choice we will replace, refund or repair (if possible). Refund will be given for the full amount paid for the goods and any reasonable costs (which we have agreed prior to return) along with proof from YOU of the costs incurred in returning the faulty goods to Victorian Lighting Company. We recommend that you keep postal receipts for this purpose. If the item proves not to be faulty when tested than only the product value will be refunded.
Under the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000 (UK Law Directive 97/7/EC), mail order, telephone and internet sales to individuals (not businesses) can return the product purchased anytime within 14 days for a full refund. The goods must be returned to us in perfect condition, they must be well packed, have not been fitted or used in any way. The goods must be unmarked and free from blemishes of any kind and they must arrive in a re-saleable condition. We do ask that you contact Victorian Lighting Company to advise of any return and recommend that YOU obtain adequate carrier insurance to the value of its contents as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items along with proof of return.
After the 14 days has elapsed in every case a re stocking charge will be made of 25%. We will make a deduction from any refund to cover the full cost of delivery (see our terms and conditions). In every case the invoice number and date together with the reason must be stated. Delivery costs included in our prices: lamppost and lantern set £45, lantern set £15 these include vat.
